Call me Mr Write. Or Mr Write Now.
Either way, I get it.
You’re juggling client demands, chasing new business, and managing a dozen projects at once.
The last thing you need is to worry about whether your written content will be delivered on time, or whether it will be good enough to put your name on it.
That’s where I come in.
I Take the Writing Off Your Plate
As a freelance writer specialising in transport, logistics, supply chain and automotive content, I work with people who need professional writing without the overhead—or endless revisions.
When you bring me on board, you get:
- Zero stress. I handle the writing so you can focus on what matters: growing your business, servicing your clients, and pursuing new opportunities.
- On-time delivery, every time. Nearly 20 years in the industry has taught me one thing: deadlines aren’t negotiable. When I commit to a project, it gets done. No excuses, no drama.
- Professional quality that reflects well on you. Your reputation is on the line with every piece of content. I deliver work that’s polished, accurate and ready to go, so you look good to your clients.
- No HR headaches. You get senior-level expertise without the cost and complexity of a full-time hire. No benefits, no office space, no management overhead. Just great writing when you need it.
Experience You Can Count On
I’ve spent nearly two decades working at every level of the publishing industry, from journalist to editor to publisher.
I’ve held senior editorial positions at Caxton, RamsayMedia and 3S Media.
This experience on the publication side means I know what press releases will get published and which ones will be ignored.
I’ve written for major truck OEMs (FAW, Tata, Daewoo, Powerstar), telematics provider Ctrack, and industry bodies including the Road Freight Association and CILTSA.
I was the lead writer for the South African Transport Conference from 2017 to 2019.
And I’ve owned my own publication (the retired Road Transport News). Currently, I contribute regularly to automobil and Business Fleet Africa magazines.
All of which is to say: Whether it’s a magazine feature, a press release, web content, an interview, or a special editorial or advertorial supplement, I’ve done it and I’ve done it well.
How I Work
- Seamlessly. I integrate into your workflow without friction. Brief me, and I’ll take it from there.
- Independently. You won’t need to hold my hand. I know how to find sources, conduct interviews, and deliver publication-ready copy.
- Collaboratively. When you need me to work with your design, production or marketing teams, I do so professionally and efficiently. I also provide input—as opposed to blindly following instructions—for a better final product.
